We provide training and consultancy for families, for people who want to develop their own plans, and for organisations.
We have established courses and we also design and develop new courses or projects for and with our customers using design teams. A design team is made up of a cross section of the participants who will be on the course or event and other stakeholders. We work with the design team to develop a clear common purpose and plan activities and logistics to achieve this purpose.
Our costs are £650 per day. This excludes VAT, expenses and materials.

This course will focus on tools developed by John O’Brien, Jack Pearpoint and Marsha Forest. Specifically it will focus on MAP and PATH but also looking at other problem solving tools such as solution circles. Underlying the whole course is the principle of graphic recording, helping participants develop the use of images and pictures to stimulate creativity in a way that words alone cannot. This is a four day course delivered over a six month period.
Two crucial questions in support planning are ‘who?’ and ‘how?’ Not everyone will want support to help them plan, but if they do, who can help them? Whether someone is supported by a care manager, support planner or independent broker, how will they plan? There is a range of different ways to develop a support plan and this paper describes one approach called ‘Planning Live!’. This document also talks about one way to train support planners and the experience of using Planning Live! in Essex.
