Person Centred Reviews: Important To/For and Working/Not Working Reviews

Care managers, reviewing officers, social workers, health professionals and many other key people are required to facilitate reviews as part of their role.

There are ways of facilitating reviews that puts the person at the centre of the process and draws on person centred thinking tools and approaches. This process often does not take any more time or preparation, but will develop a clear and focused person centred action plan with the person.

While the process was designed with transition in mind, they are also being used with adults, children and young people in a range of different service situations. This course develops people's skills to enable them to facilitate two types of person centred review.
